Blue Pier featured: Top 10 startups investors want to meet at Collision from Home

Niamh O’Connor, Collision from Home, June 17, 2020

Every year at our events, the world’s leading investors come to meet startups of all stages exploding with potential. This year, we’re thrilled to welcome more than 1,000 startups to Collision from Home.

We’re excited to have top investors such as Vinod Khosla of Khosla Ventures, Renata Quintini of Renegade Partners and Chetan Puttagunta of Benchmark joining us online next week. They and their fellow investors spent some time choosing which of our 1,000 startups they want to talk to. These meetings are requested, accepted and scheduled through our investors team, meaning both the investor and startup are ready for a valuable conversation.

That also means that we get a sneak peek into the most requested startups at each event. With almost 40 unicorns attending, we weren’t surprised to see that investors are taking full advantage of their time at Collision from Home. In no particular order, here are investors’ most requested startups, representing countries from Belgium to Brazil to, of course, Canada.

Blue Pier describe themselves as “Canada’s first pension plan as a service”. These days, a solid company pension plan goes a long way when recruiting top talent, and Blue Pier is offering employers customized plans for their staff without the work, hidden fees and endless admin. They’ve been supported by MaRS, the organization behind some of Canada’s most promising startups, since 2015, and their service partners include heavyweights like Canadian Western Trust.
