About Stephanie

Dr. Stephanie Milone practices Emergency Medicine, and is the former Chief of Emergency Medicine, at the Headwaters Health Care Centre as well as a family physician in Orangeville, Ontario. Stephanie is a mentor to medical students, residents, and other physicians, and is the Site Director for the University of Toronto Family Medicine Rural Residency Program. She is the recipient of both the Community Teacher of the Year and Ontario Family Physician of the Year awards (Ontario College of Family Physicians) and Preceptor of the Year award (Rural Ontario Medical Program).  She co-founded a medical mission in Northern India and is a strong community advocate having raised funds for the local hospital and supporting initiatives like local shelters.  Stephanie holds a B.Sc. (Hons) from the University of Guelph , M.Sc. and M.D. degrees from the University of Toronto, and a postgraduate family medicine diploma from Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario).
